When Jessie's father dies, her estranged mother returns to the ranch to be her guardian. She brings with her a handsome stranger, Chase Summers.
Jessie's animosity towards her mom is carried over to Chase. Until Jessie realized that she is attracted to him. Chase can't keep away from Jessie either, even though as Rachel's daughter she should be off limits.
I really like this book. Even though they fight a lot, the two main characters don't deny their attraction to each other. And also there is a lot more going on in the story, not just the romance part.
